Bilibili Gaming will start the LPL Summer Split without Chen "Bin" Ze-Bin — and the call was his. In a roster update issued on 21 July, the organisation confirmed that, following talks with the player, Bin will take a break at the start of Split 3, with junior top laner Yang "Wenbo" Wen-Bo starting in his place.
Bin laid out the reasons himself. In a Weibo post that same day, he explained that his form had slipped and that, having spoken with the team, he had agreed to step aside to rest and recover before coming back. He thanked his teammates and staff for their patience and urged fans to keep supporting the side.
Wenbo is no newcomer to the main stage. He was called up from BLG Junior in late January, amid a short standoff between Bin and management, and was registered next to the veteran for the Split 1 fixture against Top Esports before Bin came back. This time the change comes at the player's own request rather than from a dispute.

BLG have barely stopped this year — First Stand 2026, LPL Split 1 and Split 2, all won — and at MSI they went the full distance, all the way to the Grand Final before losing 3-2 to Hanwha Life Esports. Then came the Esports World Cup, straight after, with no real break. The fatigue likely told: BLG were knocked out in the quarterfinals by Dplus KIA.
Against that backdrop, a rest for Bin before a long Split 3 — the regular season runs to late August — reads less like a crisis and more like a team managing the toll of the year. Wenbo carries the top lane until he is back.
